- The code can be ablated onto the end of an EJECTOR PIN to retrofit existing tools.
- Code can be read using a handheld or fixed imaging scanner. ICS recommends Keyence and Cognex as approved providers of proper code scanning equipment.
- EDM burning is not detailed enough for the code to be read easily.
- The pin will be polished by ICS Laser Technologies before it is etched.
- Knowledgeably applies laser characteristics on the floor finish, the wall integrity and for the depth of ablation.
- Carefully finishes peripheral floor and ablation surfaces onto the pin end.
- Scanning relies upon proper ambient light conditions.
